CONFERENCE PROGRAMME ATTRACTED MORE VISITORS THAN EXPECTED
With crowded forums and conference rooms the organizer has been overwhelmed by the welcome of the visitors to the new conference and event programme structure. The premier of the Ideal Bathroom introducing the TOP Italian interior designers: Paola Navone, Ludovica and Romberto Palomba, Giovanna Talocci and Diego Grandi jointly presented by ABITARE Magazine was a huge success with people need to wait outside the 400 seating forum at hall W3. Other conferences, seminars and events on the hospitality industry, green building, real estate issues and other building & design related topics as well as the C.O.C.A. & Golden Bund Award Ceremony proofed to be highly beneficial for the quality visitors which come from the contractors, real estate, architects and design background. The organizer will continue to offer more such kind of events and conferences in 2010 and will build up a B2B platform where premium building and ceramics manufacturers can meet with the Asian real estate industry, contractors, designers & architects.
NEW CONCEPT FOR THE FUTURE
To celebrate the 18th edition of Build Expo, the organiser will modernise the entire exhibition by adding more future building-related topics and combining these new topics with an entirely new structure of the exhibition.
Expo Build will extend its existing services for architects and designers by adding more product and service categories for exhibitors, such as designer software, CAD systems and other software solutions. The widely at Expo Deco at hall W3 and the Home Fashion & Design Shanghai Show will also be extended in scale. Expo Build will thus become the largest and most important meeting place for architects, and interior and product designers in East Asia.
Furthermore, the organiser will give real estate developers, agents and service providers the chance to introduce their latest residential, industrial and commercial products – showcasing trends for energy-saving building and futuristic structures, exterior designs and new exterior building solutions.
Finally, Expo Build will address the growing demand in China and other Asian countries for premium supplies. Ceramics China, which is co-located with Expo Build, will move into the premium segment, and showcase high-class and fashionable bathrooms, tiles and other interior decoration materials. Existing exhibiting companies will feel more confident and comfortable in a premium environment, making Ceramics China the only premium event in China for tiles, stones and bathroom facilities.
New Motto: FROM EXTERIOR TO INTERIOR, EXPO BUILD PROVIDES PREMIUM SOLUTIONS FOR THE CERAMICS & BUILDING INDUSTRY IN ASIA
With this new structure, the organiser of Expo Build is addressing the needs of the building industry by providing solutions for future buildings under the new motto for Expo Build 2010 “Under One Roof – From Exterior to Interior”. Halls W1 and W2 will start with exterior building concepts and services, while Ceramics China and Glaze China (Expo Glaze), and the Design Festival at Expo Deco will remain in Halls W2/W3/W4.
Existing product groups for coatings (Expo Coat), lighting (Expo Light), windows and doors, and stone (Expo Stone) will be incorporated into this new structure, and be located in Halls W4 and W5, as well as an open area. In the future, exhibitors from the past, such as Faac and other big brands, will have an even better opportunity to showcase their new environmentally friendly product lines. The organiser emphasises that these sections will also be developed with an eye on the middle and premium segments to address the growing demand for high-quality and future design products in China and East Asia. Especially hall W4 will present international pavilions from Turkey, Poland and other countries as well as presenting the quality visitors with the TOP international brands.
EXPO BUILD ANNOUNCES CHANGES FOR THE FUTURE
To meet the growing demands of the internationally renowned architects and designers that are present at the Design Festival at EXPO DECO in Hall W3, the show organiser has announced a great milestone for Expo Build 2010:
“EXPO BUILD GOES GREEN”
Following recent moves by China’s Central Government to promote green building solutions and energy-saving building solutions, Expo Build will open a new section to address the demand for environmentally safe and friendly energies and building materials. Planned public investment in these sectors is huge, driving market forces. However, as always in China, markets tend to be extremely opaque, trends are hard to identify, and reliable information and a good contact network are crucial for success. Leading companies from around the world - among them those from the US, Australia, Germany, the UK, Japan and Singapore - have confirmed their interest in participating in this new section. Leading networks, such as econet-China from Germany, and others from the UK, Australia and the US, are currently evaluating further cooperation opportunities with Expo Build China in 2010, as well as the chance to hold numerous forums, seminars and conferences co-located with Expo Build.
Starting at Expo Build 2010 each exhibitor which will display sustainable and environmentally friend building products will receive a special green logo to notify and to promote this special products to the visitors.
Join the future of Expo Build in 2010
The organiser invites all media and exhibitors to be part of this challenging new concept. Further details will be announced in spring 2009. The organiser is introducing the above new concepts as part of co-located conferences, events and seminars for the green building industry, real estate and other segments. An Expo Build “Activity Guide” will be published in March 2010 for ongoing events covering these topics during Expo Build.
