Group Publisher

- Responsibilities

*Overlook and drive the business and operations of the Jewellery Publishing Group, a multi-million dollar (US$) portfolio of international jewellery trade publications and related events, including 3 monthlies (print and online versions), directories, annual publications and supplements, and industry-wide events and conferences
*Responsible for the group's P&L, budget planning, quarterly forecasts, and costs management
*Manage all aspects of the business on a daily basis, including sales, marketing, editorial and circulation
*Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to achieve revenue targets
*Develop industry knowledge, establish a global connection with the trade and maintain key client relationship
*Responsible for coaching and developing key staff within the group
*Collaborate with other UBM teams to develop synergy within the Jewellery Group

- Requirements

*University graduate or above
*At least 3-4 years of experience in a publisher role, preferably in trade or business publications
*Experience in publishing in China is an advantage
*Excellent command of written and spoken English.  Mandarin and/or Cantonese is a plus.
*Hard working individual and culturally strong in people’s management
*Willing to travel and able to adapt to the international nature of the job
*Proven leadership ability and strong interpersonal skills

Marketing Manager

- Responsibilities

*Responsible for driving all marketing and public relations initiatives for the jewellery publishing group, which consists of monthlies (print and online versions), directories, annual publications, conferences and award events in the jewellery trade
*Overlook and drive all promotional campaigns, including circulation promotion, event management and website marketing
*Supervise team consisting of marketing and circulation staff
*Plan, organise and manage marketing activities before and during trade fairs
*Help develop sales materials and provide support for Advertising department
*Provide overall management and maintenance of the database

- Requirements

*University graduate or above
*At least 5 years of experience in direct marketing.  Experience in the publishing industry and website marketing is a plus.
*Good understanding of database marketing
*Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
*Creative, hard-working, organised and be able to work under tight deadlines
*Strong leadership, and good interpersonal and communication skills

Programmer

- Requirements

*Diploma or above
*At least 1 years of experience in software development
*Knowledge in Visual Studio, ASP.NET, Reporting Services.
*Experience knowledge in SQL Server
*Self-motivated, willing to learn, and be able to work under pressure

Deputy Marketing Communications Manager

- Requirements

*University graduate in Marketing/Communications/Public Relations
*Excellent command in both spoken and written English and Chinese
*Fluent in Mandarin is a must
*5 years or above experiences in trade exhibitions, event marketing or public relations
*Excellent copywriting skills
*Experienced in advertising planning and media buying will be an added advantage
*Detailed-minded, creative, self-motivated with strong organizational skills

Designer

- Requirements

*Diploma or degree in Graphic Design
*More than 4 years' experience in design and publishing
*Strong creative mind and layout skills
*Dedicated individual to design mailers, brochures, advertisements, promotional materials, layout of magazines and fair directories
*Mac experience, proficient in Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Fireworks, Dreamweaver, Flash (CS4) and other related software
*Knowledge of pre-press and production processes
*Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
*Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines

Assistant Editor - Silver Styles

- Responsibilities

*Write features and news stories for the print and online versions of a leading trade publication on finished silver jewellery
*Responsible for content development, and conducting interviews and research for articles assigned
*Oversee and coordinate logistics of pictorials and photo shoots, including sourcing of jewellery pieces, models and fashion items
*Translate English articles into Chinese
*Work with Production on layout development and with other team members on publication-related admin matters
*Contribute to other supplements, including show daily, directories and other annual publications
*Assist the Editor in special projects assigned to the team

- Requirements

*Degree in Journalism / Mass Communication or related disciplines
*4-5 years of editorial experience in print magazines, preferably with experience in business and/or lifestyle/fashion publications
*Fluent in spoken English and Chinese, and highly proficient in written Chinese. Translation experience is an advantage
*Excellent organisational skills, a strong news and fashion sense and an eye for details
*Ability to work under pressure, tight deadlines and a fast-paced environment
*Self-starter, diligent and a team player
*Willing to travel
