 Group Assistant for International Marketing Department

The UBM Asia International Marketing Department seeks an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join the group dedicated towards improving the marketing practise and professionalism throughout the company. The International Marketing Department at UBM Asia is an internal consultating group who works with project teams across UBM Asia’s offices towards achieving greater marketing results for our portfolio of leading B2B events & exhibitions, publications, and online businesses. This position is full time, reports directly to the Regional Director of International Marketing, and is based in Hong Kong.

In this role, the Group Assistant is responsible for managing all departmental administrative items for the Director and department staff. He/she will be responsible for managing staff schedules & travel, training schedules, events/meetings, and invoices & expenses. As well, the Group Assistant will assist with larger projects including the maintenance and communication of the departments’ training materials, annual meeting and awards programme, company-wide initiatives and other specialty projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Director with administrative and organisational items
  • Manage overall departmental administrative items including training and travel schedules, expenses & invoices, marketing collaterals and files, and inter-departmental events and communications
  • Perform ad-hoc research, assignments, and project support for the group as they arise
  • Contribute to the department’s overall initiative and goal to provide support and learning across the company

Requirements:

  • College degree and minimum 2 years’ experience in professional office work environment and administration
  • Strong proficiency in spoken and written English and Mandarin are a MUST
  • Possess high degree of organisation and be detail-oriented
  • Collaborative and “people-oriented" demeanor with positive, “customer-focused" personality
  • Independent self-starter with the ability to juggle multiple projects and initiatives with poise
  • High proficiency in with computers and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint Outlook)

 


 

Analyst, Event Data Solutions

Responsibilities:

  • Design and produce analytics to evaluate sales & marketing campaigns
  • Ongoing data management tasks

  • Collaborate closely with other departments, branch offices and vendors over event lifecycle

  • Plan and monitor visitor on-site registration logistics at exhibitions

  • Deliver trainings in the use of databases

  • Support a variety of database marketing efforts

  • Handle marketing-related administrative tasks by liaising with business teams and vendors

Requirements:

  • Degree holder with 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience with database and statistical analysis

  • Experience in database marketing or business analytics is an advantage

  • Good team player and able to work independently

  • Ability to work under pressures while paying attention to details

  • Customer-focused, strong problem-solving and communication skills

  • Occasional travels

  • Good command of both written and spoken in English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)

     

Senior Exhibition Sales Executive, Fashion Team

Responsibilities:

  • Execute sales functions including data input, invoicing and various administrative tasks
  • Explore new business opportunities and contacts, telemarketing to look for local and international potential customers

Requirements:

  • University graduate
  • Min. 2 years in sales and customer services experience, relevant event and exhibition industry experience is preferable
  • Good communication skills, fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese, Mandarin is highly preferable
  • Good PC knowledge, self-motivated with team spirit, out-going, dynamic, and target oriented
  • Able to work under pressure, independently and proactively
  • Less experience will be considered as Exhibition Sales Executive

 


Marketing Communications Executive

Requirements:

  • Excellent command in both English and Chinese (written & spoken)
  • University graduate in Marketing / Communications / PR
  • Detailed minded, creative, copywriting skill, self-motivated with strong organizational skills
  • 3 - 4 years' working experience in marketing, communications or PR fields
  • Experience in trade exhibition would be advantage
  • Fluent in Mandarin is an added advantage
